Robert Weaver "Bobby" Harrison, age 61, of Holcomb, passed away Monday, August 30, 2021, at his home. Funeral services are at 11 a.m., Thursday, September 2, 2021 at the Mortimer National Funeral Home Chapel in Grenada. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Yalobusha County. Visitation is Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Mortimer National Funeral Home.
He was born on August 1, 1960 in Coffeeville, Mississippi and was the son of the late George Weaver Harrison and Patsy June Harrison.
Bobby was employed as a floor mechanic for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and researching family genealogy.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, George W. Harrison and Patsy and Billy Max Hall.
He is survived by two daughters, Misty Marie Harrison of Elliott and Jamie Elizabeth Sowell and her husband, Butch, of Hernando; two sons, Robert Joshua Harrison and his wife, Danielle, of Bartlett, Tennessee and Joseph Weaver Harrison of Coffeeville; two sisters, Theresa June Holland and her husband, Cliff, of Holcomb and Betty Jo Morrison and her husband, Buddy, of Holcomb; two brothers, George Kent Harrison and his wife, Jan, of Nashville, Arkansas, and Lee Andrew Harrison and his wife, Lacon, of Huntsville, Alabama; and eleven grandchildren.
