Rhonda was raised in Wynnewood and later the family moved to Wheeler, Texas. She transferred to Mustang her junior year and graduated from Mustang in 1977. After high school she returned to Wheeler and married Stephen Ray Wallace on June 3, 1978. In 1980, they made their home in Weatherford where they raised their two sons. They owned and operated ReAct Construction where she worked alongside her husband. In 1995 she began working as a secretary with OHP Troop H for 26 years.
Rhonda enjoyed spending time with her family—especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronnie Cox.
