Sheila Mae (Edwards) Scurry Scott was born September 28, 1953, in Columbus, Ohio to Joseph Andrew "Andy" and Bessie Bee (Jackson) Edwards.At age 67, she passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, surrounded by family at her home in Columbus.
Sheila attended Milo Elementary and Monroe Junior High School in Columbus before graduating in 1971 from Centerburg High School in Centerburg.
She was a proud Alumna of The Ohio State University and member of the prestigious Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
Sheila was a passionate educator, administrator, and director with Columbus City Schools for 40+ years. She was a Jack & Jill mother member and lady of Jaquananas.
Sheila is survived by her husband Wendell Scott, children Jeriah Scurry, Alison (Mark) Moxley, her beloved family and friends.
