Philip A. Schumacher, 75, of Newtown Square, PA—formerly of Wallingford—died at his home Monday, August 23, 2021. Phil was born in Scranton to the late Philip A. and Dorothy (Jenkins) Schumacher.

Phil is survived by his wife of over 45 years, Jean; his son Stephen Killcoyne, Steve's wife Hope, and their two sons, Lucas and Jack; his daughter Maggie; and his sister Gretchen McGilley.

Phil loved to learn about anything and everything. One of his lifetime hobbies was gardening, brought to full bloom in his Wallingford backyard sanctuary complete with a koi pond and thousands of exotic plants. The Harvesters at WHV also benefited from Phil's passion for gardening. Phil enjoyed an occasional cigar with his good friends and grandsons, as well as a fine glass of bourbon. But his greatest happiness came from time spent with family: he truly loved us all.

Family and friends are invited to attend Phil's 10am Memorial Service, September 27, 2021, at the White Horse Village Auditorium, 535 Gradyville Road, Newtown Square, PA 19073. A private burial will take place in Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills, PA.
