FANT, CHARLOTTE COOPER, age 59 of Pelham passed away June 1, 2006. She was born March 27, 1947 to Colonel Carl and Jamesanna Rutledge Cooper of Jasper, Alabama.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Jamesanna Cooper (1924-2002) and her brother, James Carl Cooper (1945-1972).
Devoted to her family, she raised her four children and helped raise her grandchildren.
Charlotte is survived by her husband, William S. Fant, Jr., of Pelham; her children, Bill (Dava), John (Tiffany), Jason (Emily) and Mandy (Jorge) Cordova; eleven grandchildren, Sydney Margaret, Madison, Greyson, Olivia Rose, Eli, Cecelia, John Trevor, Harper, Davis, Jarrod and Taylor; her father, Colonel Carl Cooper of Birmingham; her in-laws, William S. Fant, Sr. (Edna).
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2006 at 9 a.m. at Elmwood Chapel in Birmingham. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Friday evening and 8:30 a.m. on Saturday before the service. Dr. John D. Pennington officiating.
