George W. Drury, 74, of 902-30 St., Tell City, Ind. Died December 1, 1984 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. / A native of Henderson County, Kentucky. Mr. Drury was born March 19, 1910, the son of George and Gertrude Willett Drury. His wife, Oressa Byers Drury, survives. / He retired from farming in 1972 and was a World War II veteran. / Other survivors include: two sons, Gary L. Drury of South Bend, Ind. And William Byers Drury of Greenville, S.C.; one daughter, Rebecca Drury of Philadelphia, Pa.; five sisters Elizabeth Morton and Mildred Kitchen of Owensboro, Margaret Mills of Princeton, Ind., Virginia Ruemmele of Louisville and Louise Chandler of Decater, Ala.; one brother, Raymond Drury of Owensboro and four grandchildren. / Funeral services were held December 4 at Finch Funeral Home in Tell City, Ind. with burial in Stephen Layman Cemetery, Millwood.
