Louise grew up in Iowa and graduated from Lincoln Township High School in Zearing, Iowa. She received her Associate degree from the American Institute of Business.
Louise and her sister Marilyn were raised on the family farm in Zearing, Iowa. Louise married Ed Brown on August 2, 1958. She worked as a secretary for the Governor of Iowa and at South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD, where Ed attended college. After her first child, Jeffrey was born, she became a homemaker. In 1962, Louise and Edwin moved to Windsor, CO. She continued to be a full-time mother after the births of Kristen and Douglas. After the family moved to Chugwater, Wyoming in 1975, she worked as a part-time librarian and also at First National Bank of Chugwater. She and Ed returned to Windsor in 1979 and Louise became employed as a secretary for the Windsor School District before retiring after 20 years of service. She had been a member of First Christian Church in Windsor since 1962, was a member of PEO, and involved in Bridge and Bunko Clubs.
She is survived by her son Jeff Brown and wife Shari of Wheatland, WY, their sons, Jamison and Gage of Laramie, WY; daughter-in-law Jennifer Brown, of Beaver Dam, WI and her son Joe Brendemihl of Littleton, CO, and daughter Hannah Fahrenbruch and husband Rieley of Beaver Dam, WI, and their son, Rueben; her sister Marilyn Bryan of Evans, CO; and grandson Sam Brown of Tacoma, WA. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ed, daughter Kristin Brown and son Doug Brown and Buffy the cat, who was loyal to Louise.
A life celebration will be held at First Christian Church in Windsor, Co Sep 17, 2021 @11:00am.
