Jimmy T. Ford, age 65, of Maynardville, Tennessee passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021 at home surrounded by his family. A man that had unmeasurable love for his family, friends and even complete strangers. From early childhood up until his final days, he had a passion for bringing joy to others from hosting Easter Egg Hunts to making sure Christmas was special for more than just his family. Jimmy enjoyed bowling, fishing, karaoke, and tinkering on things outdoors.
He was preceded in death by parents; grandparents; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Jimmy is survived by wife, Beverly Ford; daughters, Victoria (Greg) Griffin and children, Khilee and Nicholas; Vannessa (Jeremy) Merritt and children, Faith, Aspen and Ricky; April Ford and children, Marcus and Carlynn; son, Charles (Christen) Ford and children, Riley, Kyleigh and Leah; sisters, Bettye (David) Downing, Lauryn (Sam) Ashworth, Joyce (Jeff) Johnson; brothers, Bill (Jeannie) Ford, Mitch (Kay) Ford, John (Polly) Hall; Butch (Priscilla) Hall; many nieces; nephews; cousins and many special friends.
The family will receive friends Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Mountain View Church of God, 336 Tazewell Pike, Luttrell, TN 37779 with a service to follow officiated by Rev. David Simmons. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at TVA Employees Credit Union under the Jim Ford Memorial Fund.
