Carlos A. Martinez Jr. 25, of Brownfield passed away peacefully on Saturday August 21, 2021, in Midland, Texas. Carlos was born in Brownfield, Texas to Carlos A. Martinez Sr. and Elvira Rocha on June 20, 1996. Carlos a friendly man who met no strangers, was a people person. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. His newfound joy was spending time with his wife; Alexis as they were newlyweds and their beautiful daughters; Rylinn, Neveah, and Celeste. Carlos was an avid sports fan and particularly liked the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed cooking especially bar-b-que and exploring the outdoors. Carlos is described by his family as a hard-working young man and a provider who always went above and beyond.

Carlos leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Alexis Martinez, daughters; Rylinn, Neveah, Celeste, parents; Elvira Rocha and Lucas Rocha, siblings; Lisa Zambrano (Jesse), Kiara Saenz, and Laura Ramos (Rocky). He also leaves to cherish his fondest memories, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Carlos is preceded in death by his grandparents; Maria Serna and Jose Avalos.

Family will receive guest from 5-8 p.m. for a visitation on Thursday August 26, 2021, at Grace Funeral Care - Brownfield Chapel. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Brownfield with Father John Ohlig. He will be laid to rest in the Brownfield Cemetery.
Funeral services are entrusted to the professionals of Grace Funeral Care.
