On May 26th, at the age of 69 years, 6 months, and 9 days, Mr.
Louis A. Brumfield passed away. He was a life-time resident of
Washington Parish, was married to Celia Brumfield, daughter of
Dr. Varnado, who passed away about 3 years ago. They had 10
children, 9 of whom are still living. Children are: Mrs. Dora
King of Texas, George L., Dan, Marshall, and Angus Brumfield,
Mesdames: C.C. welch, H.C. Fussell, Daniel Garrett, J. Wright
Simmons. Intrment was in the Varnado cemetery.
