Travis John Sellers, 50, of Kirbyville, MO, passed away unexpectedly on August 28, 2021, at Cox South Hospital with his loved ones by his side. His family and friends are deeply saddened by his sudden death. He will be truly missed in so many ways.

Travis was born on March 22, 1971, to John Sellers, Jr. and Jean (Collins) in Corydon, IA. Travis grew up on his family's farm in southern Iowa, which instilled a love for agriculture and tractors throughout his life. A graduate from Wayne Community High School in 1990, Travis was a FFA officer, wrestler, a member of the Wayne Falcons' football team and a sprinter for the track and field team; he continued to be an avid sports fan throughout his life. Anyone that knew Travis knew of his love for the Dallas Cowboys.

Travis met his beloved wife Christina "Tina" (Engle) Sellers at Wayne Community High School. The high school sweethearts wed in 1994 and were blessed with two children, Jordan and Taylor Sellers.

After graduating high school, Travis went on to get his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1999. After graduating Palmer College, Travis and his family moved to Missouri to open up their chiropractic office in Forsyth, MO where he continued to practice for 22 years. Travis had the gift of making everyone feel like family and had a heart to help heal the people around him as well as put a smile on their face. Travis truly made everyone feel special and valued no matter who they were or what they did. Travis was love, mixed with a bit of orneriness.

More than anything, Travis was a dedicated husband and loving father. Anyone that knew Travis knew his family meant the world to him. He never missed a game, a camping trip or a chance to read to his grandchildren. The loss of Travis will leave a deep hole in the hearts of many, but the impact of his love will continue in those he loved so well.

Travis was preceded in death by his mother Jean (Collins) Sellers, his aunt Susan (Porter) Sellers.

Travis is survived by his wife Tina, son Jordan (Mackenzie), daughter Taylor (fiancé Jacob), father John Sellers Jr., brother Charles (Erika), granddaughter Hudson, grandson Luke, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends.

We know Travis was greeted at Heaven's gate and into the arms of so many who passed before while hearing, "Well done my good and faithful servant."

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, September 2 at Shadow Rock Park in Forsyth, MO at 6:00 p.m. A second celebration will be held on Saturday, September 11 at Walden Park in Corydon, IA at 10:00 a.m.
