Kathryn Leigh Wilson
December 3, 1971 - August 11, 2021

Kathryn Leigh Wilson, a San Antonio native, was born on December 3, 1971. She fought a six year battle with appendiceal cancer, and passed away peacefully into the arms of our Lord on August 11, 2021. She was a spirited child who grew up to have the strength of character during her battle to be an example of kindness, cheerfulness, and a positive will to live. During all her hardships, her famous saying was, "I'm not done yet!" She loved her family. She was very proud of her two sons and her two granddaughters. Her dearest wish was to watch her granddaughters grow up.

She is survived by her loving husband of 19 years, James Wilson; her two beloved sons, Nicolas Wilson and wife Dulce, and Jason Wilson; her two adored granddaughters, Arabella Wilson and Daisy Wilson; her parents, Fred Whitecotton and Bette Martin and husband Louis; her sisters, Lisa Wilkiewicz and husband Sobek and Catherine Woerheide and husband John; nieces and nephews: Aidan and Morgan Wilkiewicz, and Laurel, Daisy and Willis Woerheide; and many wonderful aunts, uncles and cousins. Kathryn drew many devoted friends to her by her thoughtful and caring friendship. She was fun loving and enjoyed traveling and having friends over to her home.

Kathryn worked at Allstate Insurance Company for 22 years until she decided to retire because of her illness. She was not ready to give up the working world because she enjoyed the many challenges along with the interaction with all her colleagues. Kathryn was a "people person" who enjoyed meeting and keeping many friends.

Visitation will be held at Porter Loring Mortuary North on Friday, September 10, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and the Funeral Service will be held there on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 9:30 AM.
