Nancy Joan Warren, age 90 of Adrian passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Gaslight Assisted Living in Adrian. She was born February 22, 1931 in Osseo, MI, the daughter of the late Verne Carl and Edna May (Buckmaster) Perrin. On February 22, 1953 in Angola, IN, she married Jack Herbert Warren and they shared over 45 years together before he passed on December 29, 1998.

Nancy was a member of the Clinton United Methodist Church where she was the church secretary. When she was young, she worked as a switch board operator leaving to raise her family. Later when she went back to work, she started working at the Britton Post Office then transferred to the Clinton Post Office, retiring after 16 years. Nancy was the Lenawee County Bowling secretary for 14 years, Strikettes Bowling League secretary for 25 years, and part of the Women's National Bowling Tournaments for 35 years. She was an avid reader, reading 5 or more books a week and was a mentor to the children in the Reading Appreciation Program at Clinton Elementary School.

Nancy is survived by her son, David (RoxAnn) Bruce Warren of Crete, IL; son-in-law, David (Elizabeth) Dowe of Tecumseh, MI; nine grandchildren, Valerie Warren, Amanda (Mark) Kammeraad, Chris (Martha) Warren, Melissa (Jim) Morgan, Jeremy (Michelle) Warren, Greg (Yuki) Stoddard, Steven Stoddard, Colleen (Scott) Rhodus, and Eva (David) Renfer; twenty-four great grandchildren. Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter Dawn Dowe, a son Daniel Warren, granddaughter, Tina Marie Warren, stepson, Mark Warren, one brother and two sisters.

Visitation for Nancy will be at the Clinton Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes on Friday, September 3, 2021 from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm. Funeral services will be on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 11:00am with Pastor Michael Vollmer officiating with visitation from 10:00am until the time of service. Burial will be in Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens in Tecumseh. Memorial contributions may be made to Clinton United Methodist Church or Hospice of Lenawee. For the funeral service the family ask that you do wear a mask.
