Funeral services for Melba Howeth Warren, 69, of Henderson, were at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 21, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Mt Enterprise with Rev. Joe Orr officiating. Interment followed at Zion Hill Cemetery under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home of Henderson. Visitation was from 5-7 p.m., Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home.

Mrs. Warren passed away Friday May 18, 2012 at a Houston hospital. She was born February 15, 1943 in Marshall, Texas and lived most of her life in Rusk County. She retired in 2007, having worked in the loan department at Citizens Bank. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Liles and Lorena Williams Liles Crim; husband, Pat Howeth; son, Tommy Howeth; and brother, Charles Liles.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters; sister and brother-in-law; four grandchildren; her husband's children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, family, and friends.

Pallbearers were Jim Dempsey, Justin Garrison, Lonnie Shellnut, Michael Griffin, Greg Green, Brady Green, Chris Warren, and Michael Cunningham. The family expresses thanks to LifeGift for doing their part in allowing Melba to realize her wishes to give.
