Fern Ann Elliot, 80, of Pleasant Hill, Mo., passed away Monday, Nov. 26, 2007, at Pleasant Hill Care and Rehab Center. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, at Wallace Funeral Home, 422 N. Lake, Pleasant Hill (816) 987-2127. Burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the First Christian Church Memorial Fund or Hospice Care Alternative, 1420 Vivion Road, Kansas City, MO 64118.
Fern Ann was born Nov. 15, 1927, in Pleasant Hill and was the daughter of Glenn Terril and Viola Sloan Terril. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Pleasant Hill. She was united in marriage with Lloyd Elliott on Oct. 22, 1950, in Pleasant Hill. Mr. Elliott passed away on May 31, 2002. She also was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Karen Ware; three brothers, Glenn A. Terril, George S. Terril and Garnett R. Terril. Survivors include two sons, Dale Elliott and Dennis Elliott, both of Pleasant Hill; two daughters, Linda Kruse or Richmond, Mo., and Loraine Gardner of Sacramento, NM; a sister, Barbara Neill of Pleasant Hill; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and other relatives.
