Nelson, Gerald A. "Jerry" born to Eternal Life August 26, 2021 at the age of 84.

Beloved husband of Sandy. Loving dad of Lori, Rich, Geralynn and Liesa. Step father of Denise, Debbie and Julie. Dear grandpa of Andy, Elliott, Nicholas, Olivia, Nathan, Autumn and Amber, Step grandpa of Mandy, Samantha, Cheyenne, Rhonda, Colton and Wyatt and 8 step great grandchildren. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Jerry was a proud veteran of 35 years with the 128th ANG serving in Desert Storm and after his retirement from the ANG he loved going to the retirement luncheons.

Jerry was born in Peshtigo, WI to Arne (Inez) Nelson who preceded him in death. Jerry and Sandy enjoyed retirement at their home in Legend Lake, WI going on the pontoon and boating around the lake and there he served as treasure to the lake district. He belonged to the ROMEOS club. He was a boating instructor for many years. Jerry loved history, playing trivia and many other fun things.

A visitation will be held at the MAX A. SASS & SONS MISSION HILLS CHAPEL, FRANKLIN, WI on Thursday September 2, 2021 from 10 AM until time of services at 12 noon. Private interment Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated.
