Norma J. Thompson, age 74 years, a resident of Harman, WV, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital at Morgantown, WV.

She was born July 14, 1947 at Harman, a daughter of the late Milton and Letha Eye Mullenax.

On May 21, 1969 she was married to Clyde J. Thompson who survives.

Also surviving is one son, Anthony Thompson and wife Samantha of Parsons, WV; one daughter, Tracy Thompson of Harman; two brothers, Roger Mullenax and wife Jonnie of Elkins and Clifford Mullenax of Montrose, WV; four sisters, Thelma Vance of Elkins, Eleanor Arbogast and husband Mike of Harman, Irene McDuffy of Akron, OH and Jean Nelson of Toledo, OH.

Also surviving are four grandchildren, Nicole Wilson, Alexis, Danielle and Toni Thompson and three great grandchildren, Liam and Addison Nicholson and Karsen Crudup; brother-in-law Don Smith of Harman and sister-in-law Vivian Mullenax of Akron, OH.

Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one daughter, Kimberly Dawn Thompson, a nephew, Richard Mullenax and a niece, Pamela Scarmozzi; three sisters, Wanda Lee Vance, Bonnie Swecker and Nelda Smith; two brothers, Victor and Girard Mullenax and one nephew, Eddie Surguy who was like a brother to her.

Brothers-in-law, Pete Swecker, Pete McDuffy, Douglas Nelson, Tommy and Bill Vance; and sister-in-law, Charlotte Mullenax.

Norma attended the schools of Randolph County, was a homemaker and attended the Church of God.

Services for Mrs. Thompson will be private.

The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for Norma J. Thompson.
