Raymond Jay Sizemore Sr., 77, died May 8, 2004, at his home in White City.

He was born in Wyoming County, W.Va., and was a resident of White City.

Mr. Sizemore spent many years as a Volkswagen mechanic and was the owner of Raymond's V.W. Engine Repair.

He was a Jehovah's Witness and served many years as an Elder at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Maudie Lester Sizemore; son Raymond Jay Sizemore Jr. of Fort Pierce; daughters Mildred Sizemore Chauncey of Fort Pierce and Violet Sizemore Ross of Clayton, N.C.; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers Marion Sizemore and Jack Sizemore, both of Fort Pierce, and Sherman Sizemore Jr., Tommy Sizemore and Harold Sizemore, all of West Virginia; sisters Vida Brooks, Margie Walker and Thelma Dennison, all of Fort Pierce, Ann McDonald of Vidalia, Ga., Daisy Welch of Washington, D.C., and Hazel Sizemore of West Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Sherman Sizemore and Violet Byrd Sizemore; three brothers; an infant grandson; and an infant great-granddaughter.

Memorial contributions may be made to the building fund of Jehovah's Witnesses, 318 East Midway Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34982.

SERVICES: Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Haisley-Hobbs Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in White City Cemetery.
