Born in Anderson, S.C. on September 3, 1963, she was a daughter of the late Leroy Arthur Charping and the late Frances Roberta Atkins Charping.
Sharon was currently employed with Glen Raven Mills where she had been a cloth inspector for over 21 years. She loved to play pool, and could frequently be seen playing in several Anderson area pool tournaments.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Floyd, son, Randall Floyd (Brenna), sister, Marie Burdette (Jody), and stepbrother, Larry Charping.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ashley Bowen, Michael Bowen, Blake Bowen, Landon Floyd, and Gavin Floyd and a great-granddaughter, Annabella Bowen.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepbrother, Pete Charping.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 30, 2021, at 2:00pm in The Tribute Room of The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center 1621 Pearman Dairy Rd. Anderson, S.C. 29625. Rev. David Pickens will officiate and burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at The Standard prior to the service from 12:30pm – 2:00pm.
The family is at the home of her sister, Marie Burdette, 202 Beverly Ln. Anderson, S.C. 29626.
