Obituary

Elder An'drea Hezekiah Kelley was born January 6, 1978 in Stamford, Connecticut. He was the second eldest of six sons born to the late Ethel Pearl Kelley-Roach and the Hezekiah Roach, Jr. On Tuesday, April 10, 2018, Elder Kelley answered the call of the Lord and entered into eternal rest.

Elder Kelley graduated from Stamford High School in 1996. Immediately thereafter, he enrolled at Eastern Connecticut State University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 2000.

Professionally, Elder Kelley worked in various roles in Accounting and Auditing for both private and governmental agencies. Most recently, he was employed as an Internal Auditor for Clark County.

From an early age, Elder Kelley had a love of church and a zeal for God. Elder Kelley was a faithful man of God who firmly believed in living a holy life.

As a child he attended Greater Emmanuel Apostolic Church, Stamford CT under the leadership of the late Bishop Willie Hardy. Elder Kelley received the gift of the Holy Ghost at the age of 16 and at the age of 17 was baptized in Jesus Name. At age 20, God called him into the ministry and he was ordained an Elder in 1999.

Elder Kelley dedicated himself to teaching and preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ while upholding the Apostolic doctrine of One Lord, One faith, and One baptism(Ephesians 4:5).

In 2001, Elder Kelley relocated to Las Vegas, NV with his family and began fellowshipping with several local churches including The Church of the Lord Jesus and True Apostolic Church. In 2004, Elder Kelley established Glorious Apostolic Church where he was Pastor until his passing. Elder Kelley served in ministry under the leadership of Bishop Michael C. Geddis of Apostolic Fellowship Churches of Christ Jesus in Bloomfield, CT.

Elder Kelley was blessed to meet a young, passionate, and devoted woman of God, First Lady Zeneta Kelley after she was invited to a church revival service at Glorious Apostolic in June 2009.
Sister Kelley often states, "This is the invitation that changed my entire life". Elder Kelley married Zeneta, his best friend and first true love, on December 8, 2009. From the beginning of their union, they established the foundation of their marriage on the principle of God first and each other second.

In 1996, during his senior year of high school, Elder Kelley was diagnosed with Sickle Cell Anemia. Despite the health challenges with his illness, he stayed encouraged, pressing towards the mark, giving God the praise. His life was a true testimony to the glory of God.

Elder Kelley was preceded in death by his brother, Minister Alden Kelley. He is survived by his wife, Sister Zeneta Kelley and four brothers: Minister Antrone (Kenecia) Kelley; Sergeant First Class Adrian (Margaret) Kelley; Dr. Algernon (Amanda) Kelley; and Averill Kelley.

He leaves his mother-in-law, Oretha Clemons, and sisters-in-law Shannia and Shanice Clemons; as well as 1 niece; 8 nephews; and a host of many aunts, uncles, cousins, family members, and friends who will all miss him dearly.

Rest In Peace, Elder An'drea Kelley.
