SOUTH BEND - Georgia Belle Price, 66, of Linden Avenue, died about 10 p m. Tuesday in her home after an Illness. Mrs. Price retired in 1986 from Memorial Hospital as a psychiatric technician, after 23 years of service. She was born August 3, 1923, in Forsythe, Ga., and lived In South Bend since 1928, coming from Forsythe.
On Aug. 19, 1944, in South Bend, as Georgia B. Ward, she married James Price. He died March 19, 1984. She is survived by a daughter, Anita L. Graham of South Bend; three sons, Charles A., Jerry E, and Louis J., all of South Bend; seven grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; three sister Anna Ward, Wilma Gary, and Helen Persons, all of South Bend; and two brothers Eddie and John Ward, both of South Bend.
She was a member of Grace A M E Zion Church and the Service Guild of the church. She was a crossing guard for the South Bend Community School Corp., a leader for Campfire Girls and past president of the former Linden School PTA.
