David Lee Hale, 51, passed away on August 25, 2021. He was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan and lived the remainder of his life in Spartanburg. He was the son of Marie Dorothy Bloss Hale and the late Douglas G. Hale Sr.

In addition to his mother, left to cherish his memory is a brother, Douglas G. Hale Jr. (Patty) of Michigan; three sisters, Yvonne Gosnell (Danny)of Chesnee, Donna Imlay (Gary) of Tennessee, and Teresa Reynolds (Billy) of Inman; six nieces and nephews, Travis Hale, Danny Gosnell, Josh Gosnell, Ashley Shiflett, Luke Godfrey, Amanda Brookshire; and twelve great nieces and nephews, Addy, Aydon, Auston, Brantley, Jax, Hunter, Liam, Austin, Blake and Sam and 2 on the way.

A funeral ceremony will be held on Monday, August 30 at 5:00 PM in the Eggers Funeral Home Chapel of Chesnee with the Rev. Ron Culberson officiating. The family will receive friends immediately after the service till 8:00 PM at Eggers Funeral Home Chapel of Chesnee.
