On Thursday, August 26, 2021, the Webb family lost their loved one Margaret Bland Webb.
Margaret was born in Martin County on August 20, 1950 to Lester Bland and Pennie Price Bland. Margaret resided in Martin County all her life, and was married to James Webb who passed away last September. Margaret worked at West Point Pepperell until the facility closed, then became a home care person babysitting for many children. Many of the children were relatives and other family members. She enjoyed the times she spent with the children including picking them up in her minivan and taking them to bible school and for ice cream. She is also well known for her fudge and banana pudding.
Margaret is survived by her daughters Denise Nicholson and Kimberly Ross. Grandchildren: David Troy Nicholson, Kelsi & Noah Roberson, Taylor & Candance Campbell, and Charity Ross. Great Grandchild: Addison Roberson.
Brother: Wilbur Bland and wife Mary Alice. Sisters: Ann Smith and husband Paul, Gail Bonds. Proceeded in death by Sisters Jeanette Baker, Mildred Rogers, Magdline Bonds, and Brother Theodore Bowen.
Family members will be having a visitation Sunday August 29, 2021 at Bethany Pentecostal Holiness Church at 1:00pm. Friends and members of the community are invited to join the Webb family for funeral service at 2:00pm following the visitation. Join us at Bethany Pentecostal Holiness Church 1248 Tyner Rd. Williamston, NC 27892 for a celebration of her life.
