ALBERT JOSEPH NICHOLAS
1922-2007

Albert Joseph Nicholas, 85, a native of McAdoo, Pennsylvania and a resident of Pensacola for the past 20 years, died Saturday, November 24, 2007 at his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Mary Nicholas; and his sister, Conjetta Nicholas.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Florence Bufty Nicholas; sister, Josephine Barna; brother, Ralph Nicholas. A loving father and grandfather, he will be missed by his two children, Christine (Joseph) Boroden of Daphne, AL and Anthony (Leah) Nicholas of Pelham, AL, and five grandchildren, Angela, Michael and Gabrielle Boroden and Aidan and Dailey Nicholas.
He served during WWII on the USS Ulysses S. Grant. He was employed for 35 years by Atlas Powder Company in Pennsylvania. He was an active member of Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church for the past 20 years since moving to Pensacola.
We pray that he be in the Heavenly Kingdom praising the Holy Name of Jesus, praying for us and enjoying the heavenly banquet, where every tear is wiped away.
Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 28th at 10am at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church.
Interment will follow at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens.
The family will received friends for visitation from 6-8pm Tuesday, November 27th at EASTERN GATE FUNERAL HOME.
