John H. Davies, 82, a resident of Worcester Township, PA, since 1967, passed away Thursday morning, August 19, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife, Natalie A. (Lare) Davies, who passed away January 22nd of this year. They had been married for almost 60 years.
Born June 10, 1939, in Norristown, PA, he was a son of the late Paul and Margaret (Eckbold) Davies. He was a 1957 graduate of Norristown High School.
Mr. Davies had been employed for many years as a salesman with the former LaSalle Steel Company of Spring City, PA. He was a member of Central Schwenkfelder Church and the masonic lodge. He had a strong interest in history and genealogy.
Surviving is a daughter, Laraine L. Livergood and her husband, Richard, of Upper Providence Township, PA; three grandchildren, Valerie A., Julia L. and Victoria R. Livergood; and three great grandchildren, Ayda L. Spina and Jeriah W. and Lilah A. Wells. He is also survived by a sister, Ginny Buffone and her husband, Phil, of The Villages, FL. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Guttschall.
Services will be private with burial at Union Cemetery in Hellertown, PA. Arrangements are by the R. L. Williams, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. of Skippack, PA.
