Janet Grace Langston
January 23, 1937 - January 24, 2017

Janet Grace Langston, a 45-year resident of Snowflake, AZ, passed away with her family by her side on 24 January, 2017, in Cedar City, UT. She was born on 23 January, 1937 in Grand Junction, CO.

Janet Grace Thompson, Daughter of Cullen Edward and Grace Christenia Thompson, lived on a ranch near Phippsburg, CO until she was five when the family moved to Kanab, UT, Barstow CA, and later to Casa Grande, AZ. She graduated from Casa Grande High School in the Class of 1955.

Janet worked in the movie theaters in Casa Grande and as a receptionist for her brother's chiropractic office in Flagstaff. During this time, she met and married John Keith Langston from Flagstaff. They were sealed for time and eternity in the Mesa Arizona LDS Temple on 11 May, 1962. They lived in Georgia and Kentucky while Keith was in the Army, after which they moved to St. George, UT, and finally to Snowflake, AZ.

In Snowflake she worked as a care giver for the elderly, in the lunch room for the Snowflake school district, and most importantly as a homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her eight children, 26 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. Janet was a loving and happy woman who brought joy to the lives of all she knew, and happiness to everyone she came in contact with. Janet served faithfully through the years in many callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, always ready to help and lift another with her kind acts of love and service.
