Benjamin D. Baldwin, 55, of the Shoreland Community, entered into peace on Friday, December 20, 2013. He was born to the late Robert and Carolyn (Brim) Baldwin, on November 27, 1958, in Toledo, OH. Ben was a 1976 graduate of Whitmer High School. He worked for 31 years for Chrysler-Jeep, and took his retirement early with the intention to obtain a CDL and to be employed overseas. Ben loved life and showed no fear. He enjoyed being outdoors; hunting, fishing, traveling, riding his motorcycle, boat and cruising in his cars. He especially loved spending time with friends and family. He was an amazing father and showed great devotion towards his children. He was known for his kind heart and helpful hands; there was nothing he wouldn't do for his friends or family.

Left to treasure his memory is his wife, Mary (Pio); adoring children, Tara and Sean Baldwin; brothers, Bob (Wanda), John (Linda), Dick (Barb), Pete (Gloria) and Sam (Lisa) Baldwin; sisters, Sunny (Tom) Castor and Jane (Garth) Brittenham, in-laws Jack Pio,
Lois (Tim)Winkelman and Tim (Nichole) Pio, along with many nieces and nephews..

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Whitehouse Country Manor, Orchard Villa, and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for the care and compassion they provided, not just to Ben, but to his whole family.
