Barbara Lynne Osborne, age 74, of Ashley, went to be with her lord and savior, peacefully on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving daughters. She was a member of The Vineyard Columbus. Barbara retired from Olentangy Schools where she was a member of the luncheon staff and Employee of the Year, 2011.
Born December 3, 1946 in Columbus to the late Erwin F. and Dorothy L. (Eaton) Nuetzel. Barbara was an avid gardener and collector of antiques. She was very creative and crafty, loved traveling, swimming and Christmas. Her favorites were visiting Lakeside, Ohio and spending time with her 4 girls and their families.
Barbara is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Krista and Bill Chapman of Hamilton Township, OH, Kimberly and Gary Metcalfe of Murrells Inlet, SC, Teresa Osborne and Carmen Bonamico of Canton, OH and Cynthia and Michael Parsons of Jacksonville Beach, FL; grandchildren, Billy (Cara) Chapman, Zach (Amanda) Metcalfe, Meredith (Max) Bair, Ricky (Alexandria) Whitaker, Christopher (Khristen) Whitaker, Kayla Smith, Jay (Mariah) Smith, Conner Smith; great-grandchildren, Colton and Christian Chapman, Avery Whitaker, Khristopher Whitaker and Jay Smith II; brother, Richard (Norma) Nuetzel of Lexington, OH; sister, Elizabeth (Wayne) Ault of Worthington, OH; numerous beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
