Kevin Bradley Ward, 52, of Brownstown, passed away at 11:57 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2015, at Fayette County Hospital in Vandalia. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Gieseking-Claggett Funeral Home in Brownstown, with the Rev. Kevin Bonifacius officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be held from noon until time of services on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials: Donor's choice. Online condolences may be shared at www.giesekingfh.com.

Mr. Ward was born on Monday, Nov. 19, 1962, in Vandalia, the son of Edward and Alice Oldham Ward. He was employed with Mid-Illinois Concrete of Vandalia, and a member of Laborers' International Union Local 1197.

He is survived by his parents; his partner of 24 years, Suze Bunyard of Brownstown; daughters, Jennifer Bunyard and Jessica Bunyard, both of Ramsey; brothers, Jeffrey Ward of Brownstown, Billy Ward and his wife Brenda of Strasburg, and Jimmy Ward and his wife Lori of Vandalia; granddaughter, Olivia Michelle; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and an uncle Dave Oldham.
