Linda Sue Little, age 71, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at her home in East Prairie, Missouri. She was born June 27, 1950, in Murphysboro, Illinois to the late Harry Marshal Conley and Carolyn Kathryn Iler Conley. Linda was a talented vocalist and loved to play her bass guitar. She and her husband played together with a band untill recently, and had even performed as the opening act for Willie Nelson. Linda enjoyed hosting karaoke parties with friends and family. Linda held a deep passion for all animals and rescued many who otherwise may not have survived. She was known for always being there to lend a helping hand to others. Linda enjoyed finding those hidden treasures at yard sales.
On August 25, 2000, in Belleville, Illinois she married Ron Little, who survives of the home.
She is also survived by two sons, Ray (Aleta) Wilson of Troy, Missouri and Oscar (Maudia) LaChance of Dupo, Illinois; three daughters, Lisa Conley of Columbia, Maryland, Penny Coleman of Tennessee and Kimberley (Christopher) Kuni of Dupo, Illinois; one brother, Harry Conley of East Prairie; 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She had many fur babies over the course of her life, they were her world.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by one sister, Joanie Swisher.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 27, 2021, beginning at 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, with Bro. Dean Wallace officiating.
Pallbearers will be Dan Bailey, Mike Capone, Jimmy Counts, Mike Keller, Carl Bell, Adam Husk and Jason Counts.
Interment will be private at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri under the direction of Shelby Funeral Home.
In honor of Linda's love for animals, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Semo Angels Friends of Licensed Rescues, 303 W. Maple, Clarkton, MO 63837 or ASPCA, P.O. Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090.
