WANDA'S OBITUARY
FARMINGTON – Wanda Kay Russell of Farmington, entered into eternal rest on August 21, 2021 at her residence at the age of 74. She was born on February 24, 1947, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to the late Aubrey and Wanda (Cochran) Johnson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Christine Rene Lacey, her stepson, Michael Shawn Russell, her sister, Janet Jones and her brother, Thomas Michael Johnson.

Wanda is survived by her husband of 37 years, Dennis Lee Russell Sr., her children, Diana Lynn Lacey of Bismarck and James Edward Lacey of Clark Fork, ID, her stepchildren, Dennis Lee Russell Jr. of Bowling Green and Kimberly Ann Russell of Nixa, 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, her siblings, Peggy (Danny) Kramer of Park Hills and Aubrey (Teresa) Johnson of Park Hills, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Wanda was a longtime member of Open Heart Assembly of God Church and was the church pianist for 36 years. She loved flowers, traveling, but most of all loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021, from 8:00am until time of service at 11:00am at Open Heart Assembly of God Church, 1803 North Washington Street, Farmington, MO, officiated by Pastor Kevin Davis and Pastor Joe Kochis. Interment to follow at Cochran Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
