He was born April 5, 1957 in Springfield, MO the son of Bob D. and Shirley {Daniels} Ballard. Preceding him in death were his father and grandparents.
Surviving are his mother, Shirley Ballard of Rogers, AR; two sons, Jared Ballard and his wife Melissa and Justin Ballard and his wife Danny all of Cassville; two sisters, Pam Evans and her fiancé Les Summey of Rogers, AR and Alisha Lloyd and her husband Brian of Angler, NC; two grandchildren, Colt and Nate Ballard and his lady friend, Joann Johnson.
As a child Roger attended schools in Neosho, Joplin and Fordland in Missouri and Chanute, KS. His senior year he moved to Rogers, AR where he graduated from high school in 1974. In the seventy's and eighty's he worked building and installing cabinets, formica and tile. In 1987 he moved to Washburn, MO and farmed. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Cassville. Some of his favorite pastimes were fishing, farming, gardening, being with family and friends and enjoying his grandkids.
Services were held on Friday, August 27, 2021. Reverend Russell Bishop conducted the services. Burial at Washburn Prairie Cemetery in Washburn.
