Prominent Indianapolis attorney and civic leader. After serving as a partner in the law firm of Dann, Pecar, Newman and Kleinman, he established what became the firm of Klineman, Rose, Wolf and Wallack in 1958. A specialist in real estate, corporate securities and general business law, Rose helped organized The Wholesale Club and later negotiated its merger with Wal-Mart, which created the "Sam's Club" chain. Rose also served as chairman of the Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis and assisted in the resettlement of Russian Jews via the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, for which he was a member of the national board of directors.
