Thomas Earl McKinney 83, went to be with the Lord on Monday June 25, 2018. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 28, 2018 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel. Tommy was born in Lufkin, Texas and attended Lufkin High School. He retired from the Lufkin Paper mill after 43 years. Tommy is survived by his wife of 32 years, Karin, daughters Melinda Oliver and husband Billy, Michelle Stefano and husband Tony, Tina Lombardo and husband Lynn; grandchildren, Jordan Oliver, Aaron Oliver and wife Ashely, Quinton Walker and wife Minnie, William Sessum, Ryan Lombardo and wife Malayna; and several great grandchildren; sister Billie Ryan of Houston. Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Mary McKinney of Lufkin. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Winnie Berry Pet Adoption Center, 1102 N. John Redditt Dr. Lufkin Texas 75901, or The Joseph House, 5783 FM 841, Lufkin, Texas 75901. Special thanks to the staff of Hospice in the Pines and the Joseph House.
