John Austin Hatfield, 57 of Star City, passed away Monday, August 23, 2021 at his home.

He was born February 25, 1964 in Frederick, MD to the late William Ray and Helen La Vinia Baublitz Hatfield.

John was a member of United Pentecostal Church of Star City; was a stocker for Wal Mart; and loved fishing, camping and working on cars.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his fiancé, Jenny Heil; and 2 brothers, Joseph Stine and Gary Hatfield.

Survivors include 4 sons, Josh Hatfield of Star City, John Hatfield of Jacksonville, FL, Robert (Melissa) Austin of Woodlawn and Herman Austin of Woodlawn; 3 daughters, Rebecca (Monica Harrison) Hatfield of Star City, Amanda Austin and April Sanson, both of Monticello; brother, David C. Stine of Townsend, MT; sister, Penney (Robert Hayes) Miller of Star City; a special friend, Lisa Burtcher of Star City, 17 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, September 4, 2021 at United Pentecostal Church of Star City with Bro. David Poe officiating.
