David Stewart Norris, age 66, born in Demopolis, Alabama and a resident of Stockton, Alabama died Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at North Baldwin Infirmary.
He was the owner of Norris Funeral Home in Bay Minette. He was Assistant Chief at Stockton Volunteer Fire Department, a member of Baldwin Masonic Lodge #142, ABBA Temple Shrine, Baldwin County Shrine Club and Lakefront Lodge Hunting Club.
He is survived by his son, Joey (Nikki) Norris of Stockton, AL; stepson, Clayton (Kyndall) Crane of Bay Minette, AL; two sisters, Debbie Gee of Bay Minette, AL and Sherlene Anderson of Bay Minette, AL; daughter-in-law, Karla Norris; brother-in-law, Sammy Dean; sister-in-law, Cindy Odom; grandchildren, Jonathan, Blakeley and Jameson Norris and Paul and Clary Norris; step grandchildren, Caston and Cale Crane and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jason Norris; his wife, Vicky Norris; his parents, David and Evelyn Barkley Norris and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Norris.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 27, 2021 at 4:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Henry Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday, August 27, 2021 from 2:30 p.m. until the 4:30 p.m. service at the First Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Darren Slaughter, Roger Sheffield, Steve Hester, Clayton Crane, Earl Drinkard and Huey Belair.
