She was born in Loreauville, LA., and spent her life there until her marriage to George S. Graves in 1958. After marrying they moved to numerous places throughout Louisiana and Texas following the oilfield, and she retired to Gulfport, MS. after the death of George in 2000.
Dorothy is survived by three sons, George D. (Tina) Graves, Scott E. (Janell) Graves, and Ralph A. (Shawn) Graves. She is also survived by nine grandchildren George & Tina (Bayley, Meagan, Ashleigh, Joshua & Gabriel); Scott (Kriston & Brooke); Ralph & Shawn (Darby & Austin) along with four great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery on August 27, 2021 at 11:00 am.
