Kevin Ryan Thomas 27, of Locust, NC, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, August 22, 2021.
He was born in Charlotte and graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 2012.
Kevin was employed at Berry Plastics and a huge part of the ministry Ground 40. Kevin was such a joy for everyone to be around. He recently gave his life to Christ, became an advocate for helping all of his brothers at Ground 40 and sharing God's grace on what He had done for him with others. Kevin loved spending time with his niece and nephews.
He is survived by his mother and father, Eva and Dwain Thomas; brother, Josh Thomas and wife, Britney; aunt and uncle, Dan and Donna Stump; aunt, Pansy Burnette and by his paternal grandmother, Juanita Carpenter.
Kevin is joining his maternal grandparents, Pearly and Charlie Burnette; paternal grandfather, Ray Thomas; uncle, Terry Burnette and sister-In-law, Amanda Thomas in Heaven.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Bethel Baptist Church, 617 Bethel Church Road, Locust, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
