John E. Bush, 77, of Winsor St., passed away on Friday, Aug. 20, 2021 at home.

He was born Dec. 13, 1943 in Jamestown, the son of the late John and Helen Sigular Bush.

Before retiring, he was employed by Maddox Furniture and Fancher Chair Co.

John will be remembered for his sense of humor and always being a loving uncle. He was an avid hunter and loved to fish.

John is survived by his son: James (Rita) Bush of Fitzgerald, GA and John John Bush of Jamestown; four step-children: Donna, Cathy, Mike, and Shawn Lockerbe; five grandchildren; a sister Susan Harrier; and many nieces and nephews including Debbie Dean, who has been his caretaker for the last three years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his companion of thirty years Ellen Lockerbe; his sisters: Loretta Miller, Delores Lampman, Helen Dean, Janice Bush, Beverly Martin; a brother-in-law James Harrier, and nieces Sherry Lynn Martin and Ann Harrier.

Friends will be received from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021 in the Lind Funeral Home.

No service will be observed.
