EVELYN M. LAPP, 88, died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007, at her residence. She was affectionately called "Honey" by the whole family and was a member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church and its Rosary Society. She was a Cub Scout den mother for many years, and delivered homebound meals for shut-ins for over five years. She also belonged to the Auxilary of the American Legion Post 499. Surviving are daughters, Linda l. (Bob) Offerle and Marty J. (Don) Ryan, both of Fort Wayne; sons, Jeffrey R. (Valerie) Antonelis-Lapp of Enumclaw, Wash., Gregory R. (Juli) Lapp and Timothy R. Lapp, both of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Jennifer and Cicero Offerle, Casey (Margaret) Ryan and Kelly Ryan, Chris, Nick, Josh, Becca, Amanda, Alyssa and Angela Lapp, and Dimitri and Sophie Antonelis-Lapp; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Zeanna Offerle and Isaiah Ryan. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Eldon R.; her parents, Raymond and Clara Freistroffer; and brother, Don Freistroffer. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 1515 Barthold, with calling one hour prior at the church. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Mungovan & Sons Memorial Chapel, 2114 S. Calhoun, with Rosary service at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. Burial in Catholic Cemetery. Preferred memorials to Most Precious Blood Catholic Church.
