WEST, RONALD L. of Midland, formerly of Waterford; August 11, 2021; age 81; Husband of the late Carol Ann West; Beloved father of Sue Coesfield (late Carl), Pam West, Paul (Melissa) West, Adam (Stephanie) West, Barbara (Bernie) Sanford and the late Stephen West (Maryanne); Dear brother of Julie (Bob) Schram, Brad West and the late Gary West (Catherine) . Also cherished by thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Mr. West retired as Seargent with the Waterford Township Police Department and was a veteran of the United States Navy and Army 101st Airborne division. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Riverside Chapel, Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home, 5630 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment, via an escorted cortege by the Waterford Township Police Department, will take place at Waterford Center Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Carol West Scholarship Fund, or Holy Family Church in Barbeau, Michigan
