Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 13, 2010 at the Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, Nebraska with Rev. Dan Fisher of Southern Hills Baptist Church officiating. She was raised by her grandparents, James and Ramona Thomas. She attended Sioux City Public Schools and lived in Sioux City all her life.She married Dick Harper. To this union 2 sons, Casey and Curtis, were born. She spent the last 20 years of her life with her life partner, Larry Smith. Diane enjoyed housework, gardening, watching movies and decorating for holidays. She also enjoyed spending time with, and having get togethers with friends and family. She especially loved her cat "Precious".Survivors include her life partner, Larry Smith of Sioux City, Iowa; 2 sons, Casey and Curtis Harper of Sioux City, Iowa; 1 brother, Douglas Keller of Sioux City, Iowa; 1 aunt, Marlene (Bud) Cleary of Indianapolis, Indiana; uncles, Paul (Sharon) Thomas of Loveland, Colorado, Ed (Laura) Thomas of San Antonio, Texas, Wally (Maxine) Thomas of Camp Verde, Arizona; 1 nephew, Brian Keller of Sioux City; and 1 niece, Kriste Anderson of South Sioux City, Nebraska.Diane was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents; sister-in-law, Sherry Keller; and uncles and aunt, Joe Thomas and Jesse (Jean) Thomas.
