Roberto Encarnacion age 71 of Winder, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021. He was a native of St. Croix and served his country proudly in The US Army. Roberto was of the Christian faith and a faithful member of Iglesia Pentecostal La Armadura, where he was a co-pastor, counselor and a teacher. He was a very talented guitarist and artist. Roberto loved his family and especially his grandchildren. Roberto was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Herminia Solis Encarnacion and a brother. He is survived by his loving wife, Luz Virginia Encarnacion of Winder; two sons, Eliezer Encarnacion (Shemaka) of Dacula and Bobby Encarnacion of Winder; two daughters, Marilyn Morales (Emanuel) of Dacula and Helen Yarwood (Chris) of Dacula; four brothers, Jose' "Cheito" Encarnacion of St. Croix, Rafael "Rafi" Encarnacion (Haidee) of St. Croix, Gilbert Encarnacion of St. Croix and Miguel Encarnacion of St. Croix; two sisters, Antolina Encarnacion of Lithonia and Aracelis "Shelly" Encarnacion of Orlando; six grandchildren, Jeanya Yarwood, Eliezer Encarnacion "Jr.", Zahina Encarnacion, Jireh Encarnacion, Adrieyl Encarnacion and Emma Morales; a brother-in-law, Jose' A. Concepcion of Winder and his three best friends, Jesus and Jose' Nieves and Andres Robles. Funeral services will be held at 2PM Monday, August 30, 2021 at The First Pentecostal Church of Buford. The family will receive friends at the church from 11AM until service time. Interment will be held at The Georgia National Cemetery with military honors.
