Mr. Golden Morefield, 84, passed away Monday morning, September 19, 2005, at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital.
He was a member of Riverview Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Georgia Morefield, and one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley F. Morefield, of the home; step-daughter, Barbara Denise Fowler, of Bridgeton, N.J.; step-daughter and son-in-law, Theresa and Henry Burgess, of Newport; step-son and his friend, Bobby Stennette and Tonya Wheeler, both of Cleveland, Tenn.; grandchildren, Thomas Gibson and Diane Gibson, both of Newport, and Michael Gibson, of Morristown; sister, Mae Taylor, of Bybee; and brothers, John Morefield, of Newport, and Robert Morefield, of Bulls Gap.
Additional survivors include special friends, Mary and David Watkins, of Parrottsville.
