Shirley Ann Davis Jones, 85, of Richmond, passed away, August 12, 2021 at her residence. Born April 17, 1936 in Pittsylvania County, she was the daughter of Clarence Davis Sr. and Josie Mae Jones Davis.
Survivors include her husband, Freddie Reid Jones; three daughters, Sherry Staples, Freda Hardy (Curtis) and Melissa Cross (Derek); two sons, Freddie A. Jones, Sr. (Brenda) and Michael Jones, Sr. (Gail); two brothers, John Davis and Charles Davis (Betty); a host of grandchildren and other relatives. She was also predeceased by a son, Edward Jones; three sisters, Regenia Harris, Geraldine Torain and Helen Anderson; three brothers, Clarence Davis Jr., Harold Davis and Wayne Davis.
Interment will be in Highland Burial Park, Danville.
