Joseph Ernest Szabo, aka Joe LaCoco, 68, of Beaumont, TX (formerly of Las Vegas, NV) died Thursday, February 14, 2013. He was born on March 28, 1944, in Battle Creek, Michigan, to Pearl & Joseph Szabo. Joe was an actor and did several movies, including Casino and Vegas Vacation. He was also a Wolfman Jack Impersonator. He enjoyed riding his Harley across the USA with his best friend Ron & going to the casino. Joe loved life & he loved people. He would do anything to help others. Joe was always the first person to lend a helping hand when someone needed it. He will never be forgotten. Rest in peace Joe & know that you were loved by so many people. Survivors include his ex-wife/mother of 5 children, Janet Gunther; children, Joseph "Joey" Szabo, Christine Potter, & Marissa Szabo, all of Las Vegas, NV; Daniel Szabo of Great Falls, MT; Elizabeth Szabo & Lisa Szabo of Illinois; Seven grandchildren; Mother, Pearl Oesau; Brother, Freddy Oesau, both of Evanston, IL; Nephew, whom he loved like a son, Lonny Arnone of Apache Junction, AZ.
He is preceded in death by his son, Michael James Szabo, in 2004.
