Frances Evelyn Curtis, 80, of Weston passed away on Monday, August 23rd, 2021 at Mon Health Stonewall Jackson Hospital. She was born on August 15th, 1941 to the late Aquilla Moore and Mae Rebecca (Shoemake) Moore. Frances was united in marriage on April 22nd, 1988 to the late Charles B. Curtis who preceded her in death on November 12th, 2007.
Frances is survived by 2 daughters: Angel Hendrix (Cliff) of Bowdon, GA and Angela Marsh of Olathe, KS, 2 sons: Clellon Marks (Lori) of Cullman AL and Jamie Marks (Melba) of Cullman AL, 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 2 sisters: Wyoming Moore of Cullman AL and Angie Phillips of Tunnel Hill, GA and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Frances was preceded in death by a daughter Angie Annette Marks Carder, 7 brothers and 4 sisters.
Frances was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She spent her time taking care of her family. Frances loved reading, coloring and doing crossword puzzles. Most of all, Frances cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren.
Family and friends will gather at Hardman Family Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue, Weston on Saturday, August 28th, 2021 from 11:00am-1:00pm. The funeral service will begin at 1:00pm from the funeral home chapel with Reverend Russell Furr officiating. Interment will follow services at Oak Grove Cemetery in Weston.
