After settling in Florida she joined Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor James Ray. After relocating to Florida she was united in marriage to the love of her life Eddie Jenkins, Jr. to this union four beautiful children were born.
Willie Eva worked as a Domestic Engineer Supervisor at Lime Bay in Tamarac Florida, serving the Jewish community for over 20 years faithfully until her retirement.
Willie Eva was also a Foster mother where she raised kids under her guidance along with her grandchildren. Willie Eva leaves a beautiful legacy to her family as well as her neighborhood. She was known as the lady that believed in having a "Good Time" celebrating with hearty meals for all occasions.
On Friday April 2, 2021 Willie Eva transitioned from her earthly home to her eternal rest in her masters' arms. Willie Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Jenkins Jr. and her lovely daughter Jenny Swain, her parents, her Sister Eve Mae Brihm, and her brothers Willie Brihm, Eddie Brihm and Tommie Brihm.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories:
Children: three, lovely daughters Lisa Jenkins (Charles), Jeany Williams and Eddie Jean Jenkins (Louis). Sisters: Jessie Mae Brihm, of Fort, Lauderdale FL. Bernadine Brihm of Waynesboro Ga. Brothers: Sam Brihm (Alverine), and Moses Brihm of Fort Lauderdale FL, Johnnie Brihm (Katie) Clarence Brihm, Anderson Brihm (Darlene), Amos Brihm (Lottie) of Waynesboro Ga. Sister in Laws: Margaret Drayton, Perry Lee Hawkins and Essie Mae Osborne all of Fort Lauderdale FL. Brother in Law: Harrison Jenkins (Jerry) of West Palm Beach Florida. Grandchildren: Stevie Hamilton (Micah) Denise Walker (Mathis) Willie Swain, Melissa Swain, Charlotte Moses, Christopher Williams, Louis Moore Jr., Loquacious Moore, 26 great grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, a godson Bernizo Nelson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
