Steven Kyle Prince October 14, 1986 - August 22, 2021

Steven Kyle Prince, 34, of 124 Quail Run, Gaffney, S.C. went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 22, 2021.

Born October 14, 1986, he was the son of Mattie and Randolph "Randy" Chambers and the late Windon Prince, Jr.

Steven was a 2004 graduate of Gaffney High School and was a 2008 graduate of the University of South Carolina Upstate where he earned a degree in psychology. He also earned his Master's Degree in marriage and family therapy at Converse University. Steven worked many years for the Department of Mental Health and also Envision Counseling. As a result of his own personal fitness journey, he was inspired to help others by co-founding his own company, "Body and Mind". Steven accepted the Lord at an early age and was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Samantha Blackwell Prince and his daughter, Averi and son Jackson of the home. Also surviving is a brother Keith Prince (Ashley) of Grover, N.C. and two step-brothers, Parker Chambers (Kim) of Spartanburg, S.C. and Neil Chambers (Lucy) of South Orange, New Jersey. Also, aunts, Pam Whitt (Dale) of Gaffney, S.C. and Crystal Clark (Jamie) of Iron Station, N.C. Steven is the grandson of Bennie and Rachel Parker of Gaffney and the late Joyce Barnhill Prince and the late Windon Prince, Sr.

Steven enjoyed making people laugh, going to the mountains and spending time with his family. He enjoyed running, riding his bicycle and weight lifting. Steven was a devoted son to his parents and will forever be loved and missed by his friends and family.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Midway Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Midway Baptist Church with Pastor David Toney and Reverend Vernon Craig officiating. Interment will be in the Midway Baptist Church Cemetery. Masks and social distancing are requested.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) NAMI.org.

The family will be at the home of Randy & Mattie Chambers, 1456 Robbs School Road, Gaffney, S.C. 29341.
