Anna Mae Bowen, 90, of Owings passed away September 10, 2021.
She was born November 24, 1930 in Harwood to James William and Hazel Irene (Walton) Cullember.
Anna was raised in Calvert County, where she attended public schools.
She married Samuel Charles Bowen, Jr. on February 12, 1949 and they lived in Camp Springs before moving to Owings in 1977.
She was employed as a bookkeeper for First National Bank in Upper Marlboro.
Anna was a member of Smithville U.M. Church and also attended Grace Brethren Church of Calvert County.
She enjoyed spending time with her extended families, having gatherings and celebrating the holidays. She also enjoyed working in the summer at Candi's Produce with her sisters, baking, cooking and playing cards.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel C. Bowen, Jr., sisters Arlene Sherbert, M. Lorraine Catterton and Janice W. Hall and brother John W. "Billy" Cullember.
Anna is survived by a brother Ronald Dwight Cullember and wife Linda of Butler, PA, numerous nieces and nephews and her special friend Gloria Haws.
